ALAN GREEN
After leaving the British Army, after a fire arms injury Alan received, he started work as a bodyguard becoming the security supervisor for the 2012 Olympic Games then forming his own bodyguard company. He quickly fell into depression and suffered addiction problems where he eventually found himself in rehab! Whilst serving his 6 months stint, he was shocked at the amount of veterans there were in the same situation as he has found himself in.
TESSA GREEN
Tessa co-founded Mates Of Primates alongside Alan, after a lifetime spent working with a wide range of animals. She is qualified in numerous amounts of animal care and has worked most of her adult life in these fields.
MATTHEW STONE
As an ex serviceman, Matt takes great pleasure in being a part of such a unique charity that helps out, not only service personnel, but animals too. The last few years in the civilian world has had its ups and downs for Matt mentally. Having served twelve years, he left to pursue a career offshore.

CARLIE KIRK
Carlie has been working the industry of web design and online marketing for the last 10 years. When she was approached by Mates of Primates to create a website, she agreed and offered to do it for no fee. This has moved on to Carlie being asked by us to become a trustee and be more involved as we move forward.
DEREN STEVENS
Working in the field of digital marketing since 2012, Deren has been brought in to help raise awareness of the Mates of Primates foundation, bringing his expertise, team and resources to the table. With a focus on Public Relations, video production and marketing, fundraising campaigns, as well as gaining social media coverage, Deren’s knowledge will help to expand the reach of the charity nationwide and internationally over the coming years.
STAN LIVY
Stan qualified from the Royal ‘Dick’ School of Veterinary Studies Edinburgh in 2002. Working initially on the West Coast of Scotland, followed by a spell locuming and working nights in a busy emergency clinic, before spending the last 8 years at a bustling West London practice and building up a 40% exotics caseload.
