Brenda’s Story

We recently rescued a troop of 6 marmosets with the dominant female being extremely broken, having severe metabolic bone disease including broken limbs and a fractured pelvis. We named her Brenda. Brenda is now being supported by Mates of Primates and Magnolia House Veterinary Clinic and is well on her way to recovery.

Fractured and disfigured pelvis which means she could not make bowel movements.

This X-Ray shows the bone density is non existent as you can’t see the top jaw.

This is showing how constipated she is, as well as lesions on the spine and tail alongside bone density.
